    The Paris Open Source Submit is one of the major professional open source events in France, a unique place to meet the companies who built, or wants to build solutions based on open source. A team of FreeBSD commiters and contributors will be there to introduce peoples to FreeBSD.

    09 - 10 October, 2015
    BSDCon Brazil is the Brazilian BSD powered and flavored conference. The first edition was in 2005 and it brought together a great mix of *BSD developers and users for a nice blend of both developer-centric and user-centric presentations, and activities.

  • EuroBSDCon 2015, Stockholm University, Stockholm, Sweden
    01 - 04 October, 2015
    EuroBSDcon is the premier European conference on the open source BSD operating systems attracting about 250 highly skilled engineering professionals, software developers, computer science students and professors, and users from all over Europe and other parts of the world. The goal of EuroBSDcon is to exchange knowledge about the BSD operating systems, facilitate coordination and cooperation among users and developers. The dates for EuroBSDCon 2015 in Stockholm have been set to October 1-2nd for tutorials and October 3-4th for the main conference.

September 2015

    11 - 13 September, 2015
    This exciting weekend will bring together members of the BSD community for a series of roundtable discussions, educational sessions, best practice conversations, and exclusive networking opportunities.

June 2015

  • BSDCan 2015, University of Ottawa, Ottawa, Canada
    10 - 13 June, 2015
    BSDCan is a technical conference for people working on and with BSD operating systems and related projects. It is a developers conference with a strong focus on emerging technologies, research projects, and works in progress. It also features Userland infrastructure projects and invites contributions from both free software developers and those from commercial vendors. BSDCan is followed immediately by PGCon at the same location.

May 2015

  • Solutions Linux'15, CNIT, Paris - La Défense, France
    20 - 21 May, 2015
    Solutions Linux is one of the major corporate events in France about Linux and Open Source solutions. The event will also host an open source community 'village'. A group of BSD enthusiasts led by BSD France will be there to promote BSD solutions.

  • FreeBSD Kernel Class, Hillside Club, Berkeley, United States
    22 - 21 May, 2015
    Marshall Kirk McKusick will be teaching his FreeBSD kernel class based on the second edition of "The Design and Implementation of the FreeBSD Operating System". The class is being taught at the historic Hillside Club in Berkeley, California. The class will be taught weekly, mostly on Thursday nights from January 22nd through May 21st.     12 - 15 March, 2015
    AsiaBSDCon is a conference for users and developers on BSD based systems. The conference is for anyone developing, deploying and using systems based on FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, DragonFlyBSD, Darwin and MacOS X. AsiaBSDCon is a technical conference and aims to collect the best technical papers and presentations available to ensure that the latest developments in our open source community are shared with the widest possible audience.

February 2015

  • FOSDEM '15, ULB Campus Solbosh, Brussels, Belgium
    31 - 01 February, 2015
    FOSDEM '15 is a free and non-commercial event organized by the community, for the community. Its goal is to provide Free and Open Source developers a place to meet. A BSD devroom is organized to host talks about all BSD systems, to participate follow the CFP. Several FreeBSD developers will be present.
