TC-CONFIGCCACHE(1) BSD General Commands Manual TC-CONFIGCCACHE(1)

NAME
     tc	configCcache --	Configure Tinderbox ccache parameters

SYNOPSIS
     tc	configCcache [-d | -e] [-c mount] [-s size] [-j	| -J]
	[-l logfile | -L]

DESCRIPTION
     tc	configCcache displays and configures Tinderbox settings	related	to
     ccache. Without any arguments tc configCcache will print the current
     ccache configuration to stdout. Note that	in order for ccache to work, a
     ccache.tar	file must be created in	each Jail directory. The contents of
     this file must be:

      opt
      opt/ccache
      opt/gcc -> ccache
      opt/cc ->	ccache
      opt/g++ -> ccache
      opt/c++ -> ccache

OPTIONS
     The following options are supported by tc configCcache:

     -e	     Enable ccache.

     -d Disable ccache. This is the default.

     -c	mount
	     Specify the ccache	mount point. This is the location within the
	     Build where the ccache directory should be	mounted. The default
	     is	/ccache.

     -s	size
	     Maximum size of the cache. This should be	in the format nG Where
	     n is a number, and	G stands for gigabytes. The default is	1G.

     -j Enable per-Jail caches. By default, a cache is created for each
	     Build.

     -J Disable per-Jail caches. This is the default.

     -l	logfile
	     Enable ccache logging to logfile.	This should only be used for
	     debugging purposes.

     -L Disable ccache logging. This is the default.

EXAMPLES
     Enable ccache into	/ccache	and set	the maximum cache size to 2G:

     ${pb}/scripts/tc configCcache -e -c /ccache -s 2G

     Where ${pb} is your Tinderbox (or port build) root	directory.
