NAME
       firedns_aton4 - convert a dotted	quad IPv4 address to binary format

SYNOPSIS
       #include	<firedns.h>
       -lfiredns

       struct in_addr *firedns_aton4(const char	* const	ipstring)
       struct in_addr *firedns_aton4_r(const char * const ipstring)
       struct  in_addr	*firedns_aton4_s(const	char  *	const ipstring,	struct
       in_addr *ip)

DESCRIPTION
       firedns_aton4() takes an	IPv4 address in	dotted quad  notation  in  ip-
       string  and  returns  a struct in_addr containing the address in	binary
       format.

RETURN VALUE
       Returns a struct	in_addr	containing the IP address in binary  form,  or
       NULL if ipstring	is not a valid IP.
