NAME
       elmo - The ELectronic Mail Operator

SYNOPSIS
       elmo [options] [email]

DESCRIPTION
       Elmo  is	 a  feature-rich console mail client for UN*X power users.  It
       integrates functionality	commonly realised by separate pieces of	 soft-
       ware in other mailers.

       Elmo  features threading, Bayesian mail filter, colors, MIME (including
       encoded headers support)	maildir	and (partial) mbox support.

OPTIONS
       elmo accepts the	following options:

       -h, --help
	      Show summary of options.

       -V, --version
	      Show version of program.

       -F FILE
	      Use alternative elmorc file.

ENVIRONMENT
       These environment variables are used when they  are  not	 overriden  in
       configuration file.

       EDITOR Editor to	invoke when composing message.

       HOME   Full path	of the user's home directory.

       MAIL   Full path	to the user's spool mailbox.

       MAILDIR
	      Full path	to the user's spool mailbox.

FILES
       ~/.elmorc
	      User configuration file.
