NAME
       editlogin - Commandline program for editing /etc/login.conf

SYNOPSIS
       editlogin [-f file] [-q]	class option

DESCRIPTION
       editlogin  can be used to edit the login.conf file.  class is the login
       class you want to target	and option is the option you want  to  add  or
       change.

OPTIONS
       -f file
	      The file to use. The default is /etc/login.conf

       -q     Make editlogin output to syslog and only output errors.

EXAMPLES
       Add/change passwd_format	to md5 in the default login class:
	      editlogin	default	passwd_format=md5
