ECLAT-CPSNAP(1) Eclat User Reference ECLAT-CPSNAP(1) NAME eclat-cpsnap, eclat-copy-snapshot - copy snapshot from another region SYNOPSIS eclat cpsnap [-d DESCR] [--description=descr] REGION SNAP-ID eclat cpsnap --help DESCRIPTION The cpsnap command copies an Amazon snapshot identified by SNAP-ID from the given REGION to the current region. The current region is the one specified by the default-region statement in your eclat.conf(5), or by the eclat(1) command line option --region. Normally, SNAP-ID is treated as the ID of the source snapshot. This changes if ID mapping is in use (see the section MAPS in eclat(1)), in which case it is treated as the snapshot symbolic name and is translat- ed to the corresponding ID using the SnapshotId map. OPTIONS -d, --description=DESCR Set description for the new snapshot. OUTPUT The default output format lists the Amazon ID of the copy.
