Although I saw some commits which claim to fix 8.X problems, I can't
use my Epson scanner since version 1.0.19_1.
Firmware doesn't get loeaded automatically like with FreeBSD 7, but at least
when I first use scanimage after pluging in it does the job.
Newer versions than 1.0.19 don't do anything, just "no scanners were found"
Plug a Epson 3940 and try to scan a image.
Replace the current sane-backends with the older 1.0.19 and scanning will be possible.
